Stability Controls
Layer of automated risk management
In order to guarantee the stability of our protocol and pools, we've designed a set of Stability Controls that are considered by the protocol whenever a new loan origination arises. These controls may result in loans being rejected by the protocol, with the goal of guaranteeing its short- and long-term stability, for both lenders and borrowers.

Loan-to-deposit ratio | Underwriting / Lending Pools | 90% | Maximum pool utilization. This allows for a withdrawal buffer for lenders. |
Debt Limits | Underwriting | Defined per collection | Maximum amount of exposure allowed to a single collection. |
Lock-up Period | Lending Pools | 7 days | Each new deposit can’t be withdrawn before the lock period finishes. If the lender already has an ongoing lock period, a new deposit won’t extend it. |
