# Notifications and Events

Zharta offers a notification system for users who wish to receive reminders about their loan payment deadlines.

{% hint style="warning" %}
You should enable notifications by opting in when prompted after taking a loan or at any time by visiting your Profile. Make sure you provide a valid email address. Otherwise you will have to be very vigilant of what is happening with your loans.

Users will receive notifications per loan that meets the corresponding criteria:

* **Loan Started**

  A notification is sent when a loan is successfully initiated and funded. This confirms that the loan is active and outlines the key terms, including principal, interest, maturity, and any applicable call or liquidation conditions.
* **24 Hours Before Due Date**

  A notification is sent to remind the borrower that the loan is approaching its due date and that timely repayment is required to avoid liquidation.
* **Loan Term Expired**

  A notification is sent when the loan term has expired, meaning either the maturity date or the end of the call window has been reached without repayment. The loan is now fully liquidatable.
* **Call Option Becomes Available**

  After the call eligibility period has elapsed, a notification is sent to inform the lender that the call option can now be exercised.
* **Loan Called by Lender**

  When the lender triggers a call option, a notification is sent to the borrower indicating that the call window has started. This allows the borrower to plan and execute repayment within the specified timeframe.
* **Loan Reached Maximum LTV**

  A notification is sent when the loan reaches its maximum LTV, warning the borrower that the position is at risk and that corrective action (repayment or collateral adjustment) may be required.
* **Loan Reached Liquidation LTV**

  A notification is sent when the loan reaches the liquidation LTV threshold, indicating that the loan is eligible for partial liquidation.
* **Loan partially Liquidated**

  A notification is sent when a partial liquidation occurs, informing the borrower that part of the collateral has been liquidated to restore the loan to a healthier LTV (Max LTV).
* **Loan fully Liquidated**

  A notification is sent when a full liquidation occurs, informing the borrower that part of the collateral has been liquidated to repay the outstanding debt.
* **Loan Refinance Completed (Borrower or Lender)**

  A notification is sent when a loan is successfully refinanced, whether initiated by the borrower or the lender, confirming that the loan terms and/or lender have been updated.
* **Collateral Added or Removed**

  A notification is sent when collateral is added to or removed from an active loan. This confirms the change and reflects the updated collateral amount and resulting LTV.
